How to fill the form of Golden Jubilee Scholarship (2023-24)?

About Golden Jubilee Scholarship

~>Golden Jubilee scholarship is the scholarship provided by Embassy of India to Nepalese students Studying in Bachelor 1st year/1st semester of Undergraduate courses in recognized institutions in Nepal in the fields of Medicines, engineering & other disciplines ( BA, B. Com, B. Sc. etc) 

Under this scholarship, selected students from medical/engineering disciplines will get a scholarship of NRS. 4000 per month whereas selected students from other disciplines (BA, B.Com, B.Sc etc) will get NRS. 3000 per month.

This scholarship will be discontinued if the percentage of marks obtained by the awardees falls below 50℅ in each subsequent year. 

Golden Jubilee Scholarship Notice

Eligibility:-

1)You must be a regular student of bachelor 1st year/1st semester. 

2)You must have secured at least 70% aggregate marks at class 12.

3) you must be a citizen of Nepal. 

4)Family income must be less than NRS 2,00,000 per annum. 

4)You should be between 17 to 22 years of age as on 1st July, 2024.

Steps to apply:-

1)Arrange the following documents with yourself

- Mark sheet of class 12

- Citizenship certificate and its English translated version of applicants from Notary Public. (Those who are not holding citizenship certificate can attach citizenship certificate either of father or mother)

- If you are physically challenged student, then proof is needed. You will get the proof from CDO / LDO / Municipality head. 

-Proof of family income of the student less than NRS 2,00,000/- per annum is needed. You will get this in written form from your CDO/LDO/Municipality head.

-Proof of student studying in bachelor 1st year / 1st semester is needed. Get this from principle/head of your institution. They will give you in written form that you a student of bachelor 1st year/1st semester studying in their institution.

- Recent passport size photograph,

2.Visit https://www.goischolarship.com.np/

3.Click on Golden Jubilee.

4.You will see the explanation of the scheme. Click on 'Continue process' 

5.Create new user. 

6.After creating a account,  you will get a link to your email. 

7.Activate your account from that link

8.Login your account

9.fill the form with your details. Also upload all the documents needed there in that form

10.Click on continue process. 

12.Cross check all the details. 

13.Click on submit.

Note: 

- Kindly submit the email that you use frequently. 

-The student should submit each year's passed mark sheet(except of final year) along with the present status of his/her study, authenticated by head of the college. This document should be submitted by December 31st every year either physically at education wing of the embassy of India, Kathmandu or Consulate General of India, Birgunj or via email:  attacheedu.kathmandu@mea.gov.in

-The scholarship will be discontinued if the selected students fails successively in two semesters or fails to submit the required documents.
